High School delays

So today we apparently had a 2 hour delay. Well i was not aware of this because i woke up and it was sunny and nice out so i didnt check the tv. I got up got ready and went to school and when i got there and pulled in the lot i just sat there for a second and was like ughhhh did i miss something? So i came back home and watched the news and there it was Union Endicott School District- 2 hour delay.. WHY? does anyone know WHY? someone told me ice? when was there ice? anyway i feel like our school is wasting our time and especially now when we are running so low on snowdays we cant afford to miss any more school because i sure as hell dont want to be making up days during my spring break even though i wont be here so i guess ill just be truant if that happens o welllll. well im gonna go hang out for a bit before i head out to school for the second time this morning.

Night/Day from hell...

So its pretty fair to say that this weekend was the weekend from hell. It all started at about 11 pm Friday, driving my friend home ( who happens to live in the booneys of owego) and of course because we live in Endicott it had to be snowing.... so i left my friends house and was going down the hill at like 2 miles perhour and i lost control of my car and slammed into a snowbank and got stuck. Of course being out in east bumble there was no cell phone service so we had to walk about a half mile up the hill in about 3 inches of snow to use a phone then had to wait about 35 minutes to get a truck up there to get me out. So finally the truck got there at we had to walk back to the car. That was a sight to see because the 2 people i was with didnt have good shoes on so they kept falling on their asses multiple times. So finally i got outta the snow bank brough my friends home and got home at about 235 when i should have been home by like 1135. So i get to bed around 3 after showering and such but wait I had to get up at 830 to go to a 5 hour grease rehearsal. So after rehearsal everything started to turn around i got a nice long nap then went out for the night and then i really didnt much of anything today so that was pretty cool. So once again the root of my blog comes down to the fact that snow=hell.

Sick People!

Dont you just love it when your whole family is sick and your the only healthy one. I DONT! You then become the doctor, the mother ect. First of all the WHOLE house is contaminated with VIRAL PLAGUE!( ahah not really... just the flu) so you have to run around spraying everything with lysol before you touch it, you gotta wash your hands every 12 seconds, you have to drink airborne that tastes like shit... Then lets talk about the people that are sick. Of course they have the flu therefore they are naturally miserable for the next week ( i have it 2x as bad its not just two miserable people its 2 miserable women ) then they always want something, more juice, something to eat and i dont mind doing that but its annoying because you have to scrub your hands after every interaction with them because i really dont want to be sick and you really cant be comfortable in your house until they are better because like i said the WHOLE house in contaminated. SWEET

Vegas Update

Not much time to do this but i am just leaving a post from the hotel ( 5dollars for the damn computer) but i am coming home tomorrow night... i am currently in 7th place in the 15th flight out of 30 flights( im beating half of the people shooting but can be doing better HOPEFULLY TOMORROW) well i only have 20 seconds left so i will post again monday when i get home!!!!!

Las Vegas!

Well i leave tomorrow evening for Las Vegas and i dont know if i will be posting much while i am there due to the lack of a computer but if i can pick up a wifi signal somewhere along the line i will post from my Ipod......maybe the tournament site will have a wifi connection.... Wish me luck :)

My Dream Job

My dream job would be working as the executive pastry chef at some extravagant resort in some exotic locations. I would make crazyy cakes and amazing desserts. I would also travel back and forth from NYC twice a month working food the food network too. I also would compete in the Food Network challenges where you make the huge chocolate or sugar sculptures or designer cakes... That would be my dream job :)

Happy BIRTHDAY!!!! ( to me)

Today is my 18th Birthday.. According to my madre i was born excatly 6 minutes ago(9:23 am). Well anyways now that i am 18 i can do so many things like vote ( ehhh ) move out hahah umm play the lottery. Tonight will be fun but today not so much! I have to go to Grease rehearsal for and hour and a half with 1 other person to work on 1 song GAHHH.... then i have to go shoot a little seeing as i havnt done that in like a week and the biggest tournament of my life is friday OOPS! THenn the funnn begins im goin to Tioga Downs with my mom and sis and few friends... hopefully I win big then that dream car up there wont be a dream car any more it would be MY CAR hahah ( yet another dream) but ill let ya know if i hit it big tonight!!!

It would have some crazy sweet wheels, a touch screen DVD navigation, Premier trim with color accent package, Ambient lighting, and a disgustingly expensive sound system with ipod capability, satelite radio....

Dream Vacation

Well last year i was fortunate enough to go on my dream vacation ( traveling to Rome) and it was the most breathtaking experience ever! All the wounderful monument and history all around you, the amazing food, the kind people and the fun night life. I was also able to travel around italy and see Assisi, Tuscany, and Florence. I think Florence may have been my favorite city that i visited. I am also lucky enough to be going on the Euro trip again this year and i am going to be able to see London and Paris!!!
If i had to choose another dream vacation i think it would be...? Having a whole month to travel all throughout europe with my ENTIRE family and just stopping to see/do something when ever we wanted and just being able to spend a whole month together in amazing places.

Teachers

Has anyone had the experience where you are in a store and you see an old elementary school teacher from like across the store and you know they saw you? Then you keep seeing them throughout the store and you know that they are looking at you because they know they know you but cant figure out who you are? Then of course you wind up meeting them at the register and you say hello and they play along like they know you until either they figure it out or you say something that gives a hint who you are. Well i had one of thoese experiences today... I was at the mall and i saw my old THIRD GRADE teacher and i knew she saw me and everything thing that i said up above happend and every time i saw her in the store she would be looking at me and then we met at the register ( Surprise!!!) and i said hello and she was nice and asked how i was doing ( i knew she had no clue who i was at the moment) then she asked what i had been up to.. so i started talking about archery and then she knew right away who i was and then she said " I had no clue who you were for a minute" HAHAHAHAHA

Tipping?

I have a question for everyone... When you go out to dinner you all tip your waiters right? Well if you went out to dinner but it was a buffet would you not tip? because i work in a banquet/restaurant setting and during lent we offer our friday fish fry buffet and we work like a full service restaurant on these days you can order from a menu or get the buffet and we get your drinks for you ect. but for some reason people feel that its a buffet they dont need to tip.. tonight i had 2 tables with bills over 100 dollars and did not leave a tip NOT A PENNY and its not that im being selfish either because we split all the tips with the other waiters..... but i just was curious to know if people think that when its a buffet you dont have to tip...

Snow and crappy drivers Suck!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate snow! its really good for nothing... doesnt help us in any way. The only thing its good for is gettin us outta school which is always good but the cons outweigh the pros by far. Snow just creates problems LOTS OF PROBLEMS. For example lets take the idiots that have SUVs that have 4 wheel drive that think that excuses them from driving slow the crappy roads. Today I was out going to the store for my mom and the idiot in the SUV was flying down hooper road and i was goin up and of course the 4 wheel drive didnt help them when they started to swurve into my lane so of course i had to slam on my breaks but i started sliding right towards them so i had to swurve almost off the side of the road to get away from the idiot! Therefore i hate snow and idiots that think 4 wheel drive makes the roads not slippery!

Internet education.....

Most of us have been going to UEHS for the last four years and somewhere along the line you had to do your internet licence project that the librarians think is soooo educational. Well its not... they think by making you go to a specific website and write down something that is on that site is goin to help you become more internet literate, all it is good for is wasting time.Anyone can go to a website and copy something off of it. They seem to think by us doing that shows them that we are capable of using the internet at school and if you didnt do that project, or you didnt pass ( how can you not pass ?) you cant use the internet at school. How is that educational... ok heres a website go and write down the 4th word that you see... REAL GOOD INTERNET EDUCATION RIGHT THERE!!!!

Archery....

For people who dont know me... they are probably woundering why my username is robin hood... Its because i have done archery most of my life and im really not that creative enough to think up anything else at the moment... but anyway... i have been doing archery since i was 3 just something my dad got me into and i just never stopped... and now im about to turn 18 in a week and im still doing it and i am actually going to Las vegas next wedenesday to compete in the world archery championships!!!
